Since the College is established in1981 as a Junior College with Pre- Degree batches, Department of Malayalam has been functioning here. It is a single member Department which is providing Common Course in Malayalam for the students of First and Second Year Degree Programme. It also offer Open Course in Malayalam for Final Year Degree Students.
